The region of Montsant, lies close to the much revered Priorat D.O.C and in recent years has been discovered as a source of highly characterful, rich reds. Using Carignan and Garnacha, this is deep, rich and savoury with touches of liquorice and damson fruit.
A wine that will drink well now but will develop over the next 3-5 years and is ideal drinking with herb crusted lamb.
