Made from a blend of local varieties Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera di Lecce,and Malvasia Nera di Brindisi in the region of Apulia (the heel of Italy) Salice Salentino is an often over looked wine, but a wine which offers great flavours and great value.
Full in body, velvety in the mouth with complex baked fruits and soft, leathery tannins, make this a delicious wine with barbeque meats, salamis, pizza and tomato based pasta dishes.
