The village of Perelada sits in the centre of the Empordà plain, between the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees. The castle of Peralada has been owned by the Suqué-Mateu family since 1923, when Don Miguel Mateu decided to revive the medieval tradition of wine-making; an activity formerly restricted to the local Carmelite monks.
Mase from a blend of Xarel-Lo and Muscat, this is pale yellow in colour with greenish nuances. It has an intense aroma, floral, with fruity hints. In the mouth it is oily and fresh, with perfect balance. A very complex wine, with a marked Mediterranean style.
