Champagne Deutz, one of the founding members of the Association des Grand Marques was established in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann.  The house is based in Aÿ, the cru of oldest renown in the Champagne winegrowing region. Apart from extensive highly rated vineyards owned by the house itself, the present ownership, the Louis Roederer Group, is strengthening the company’s relations with vignerons in the best crus, ensuring that all of them constantly adhere to the viticultural practices that make a crucial contribution to the house style. Fabrice Rosset is the elegant PDG who oversees this lovely house and its sister house, Delas Frères in the Rhône Valley.

The Brut Millésimé bears witness to the straightforwardness and elegance of the wines of the siblings of the Deutz cuvées. The effervescence of great finesse is adorned with a luminous colour, a beautiful straw gold with bronze accents. Frank, pure and distinguished, the cuvée combines precision and complexity. On the palate, the floral aromatic palette elegantly reveals gourmet fruity aromas with notes of spices and mild tobacco. Elegance and the right balance are exactly there

Charming and expressive, Deutz's 2014 Brut Millésimé bursts from the glass with aromas of fresh peach, citrus oil, ripe green apple, clear honey and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly fleshy and fine-boned, it's bright and lively, with a pinpoint mousse and a long, nicely defined finish.
