Domaine Michaud Sauvignon
Thierry Michaud works his vineyards in the Touraine wine region, part of the Loire. With a view to the south, you look from his domain towards the enchanting castle Chenonceau. Here, between the Atlantic maritime climate and the continental climate, the grapes ripen slowly and the aromas in the grapes are better preserved. Thierry's elegant refreshing wines are perfect for the hot summer days. A regular guest in French wine guides for years.
The domain has approximately 25 hectares of vineyards planted on south-facing slopes and overlooking the valley of the Cher. Thierry Michaud's house and cellar can be found in the hamlet of 'Les Martinières'. This again is near the amazing Chateau Chenonceau.
Very aromatic, with notes of boxwood, citrus, and a nice length. Very fruity.
Excellent wine with many cold and warm fish dishes and summer salads, goats cheese or just fine to drink.
