Superb value Cru Bourgeois property from Bordeaux's left bank. Larose Perganson have made a wine to do justice to this great vintage and at a price which means you won't have to remortgage you house to get some unlike some of its more illustrious neighbours.
Beautifully weighted, with fine tannins and a purity of fruit not often seen in wines at this price from the region. This is a wine you must try, or will regret missing it out on.
One for fine red meats and at the price means it's all pleasure and no guilt when you open a bottle on a home steak night.

The 2014 Larose Perganson has a lifted, perfumed, floral bouquet with wilted violets infusing the dark cherry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is supple in the mouth with good depth, a core of sweet black cherry and blueberry fruit matched with a keen line of acidity and impressive precision to the seductive finish. Modern in style perhaps, but I like the panache displayed by this Haut-Médoc.
