BODEGAS GARZON TANNAT RESERVA
The Tannat grape is well used in the South of France, but it usually only makes up a small proportion of the blend. Many accuse the grape of being over tannic and harsh in its flavours. In terms of Uruguayan Tannat this couldnt be further from the truth. The grape has found its perfect home in the soils of Garzón in Uruguay.
This elegant and powerful wine greets you with beautiful aromas of raspberry and red cherry followed by delicious flavours of black plum, rhubarb and tobacco mixed with dark chocolate and white pepper. It has a finish that presents a brilliant tension between silky tannins and supple fruit. This truly is a marvelous wine.
