FARR FARRSIDE GEELONG PINOT NOIR
Garr Farr is something of a legend on the Australian wine scene. Making his name as the winemaker at Bannockburn Vineyards, forging the distinctive Pinots that put this great property on the map. Meanwhile, his passion for Burgundy drew him to Domaine Dujac, where he racked-up no less than 13 vintages. Eventually, he bought the farmland next to Bannockburn and this is the stunning outcome. Stunning doesn't do this wine justice, it is beyond that. It is a masterpiece. Dense in flavour yet balanced to perfection. This is a wine that must be tried to be believed.

James Halliday: 96 Points
From clones 114, 115, 667 and MV6; hand-picked and sorted, 60-70% destemmed before a 4-day cold soak, a wild ferment for 12 days, pigeaged 2-3 times daily, matured for 18 months in French oak (50-60% new). Significantly more powerful and intense than its Farr Rising sibling. This is the big dog of the trio, with everything needed for a 20-year future.
