CASTANZU VERMENTINO DI SARDEGNA
The Castanzu label is Adria Vini's first project from Sardinia. Grapes are carefully selected from vineyards in the north of Sardinia. Grapes are picked early in the day to keep them cool and pressed gently. Fermentation is in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled in April, after a short period on fine lees.
This wine has a citrus and lightly spicy nose with a saline edge, as well as hints of apple. Excellent fruit concentration and good palate weight with minerality and texture. Notes of honeysuckle and refreshing hints of zesty lemon marmalade on the finish.
