Chateau 1804 Cabardes ​

Cabardes is at a kind of crossroads where the Mediterranean varieties meet the Bordeaux varieties, so unusually for France Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grow alongside Grenache and Syrah.  This wine is a blend of all 4 of these grapes. 

The result is a full-bodied wine with a beautiful deep crimson robe. Aromas of violet and blackcurrant on the nose while in the palate is concentrated and full of roasted and spicy notes mixed with fruits of the forest aromas.
