This is not merely the history of a winery, but that of a family bound by a passion: their land and vineyards. When the passion for innovation is combined with respect for tradition, Conde Valdemar is born, producing wines that showcase the virtues of this land: the land of the Rioja.Combining the ability to look to the future with keeping our history alive, to create, among others, the first barrel fermented white in Spain, Conde Valdemar Finca Alto Cantabria, or the first barrel-aged varietal Garnacha.
It has an intense red cherry colour, clean and bright. It displays intense notes to ripe fruit and spicy touches, well integrated with the oak ageing. Tasty, rounded in mouth with an intense and long aftertaste. Especially suited to accompany home-cooked casseroles, roasts and grills, red meat, game or Iberian-pork cold meats.
