Pierre Marie Sève was born in 1875 and was the first in the family to grow and care for the vines of this estate – he was the great grandfather of current owner Jean-Pierre Sève, who now cultivates the estate with his wife Sylvie Their aim is to constantly improve quality while perpetuating the family know how built up over generations. The estate is located on the heights of the village of Solutré and covers a relatively tiny scale of 7.40 hectares (18.50 acres) and focuses on only one grape variety: CHARDONNAY. These guys are specialists and you will see that in the wines.
