
Domaine de Rombeau Rivesaltes Grenat
The Domaine de Rombeau has belonged to the La Fabrègue family for several centuries and has kept its identity by keeping the unity of the farm in Rivesaltes. In the 90s, Pierre-Henri de La Fabrègue created an authentic Catalan inn in the very heart of the family cellar with the wines of the production offered at the price of the sales cellar.
Located in the Roussillon plain, this vineyard is lulled by the Tramontane wind all year round. The grapes, picked at optimum ripeness, are subject to rigorous selection. Cold skin maceration. thermo-regulated fermentation at 18°C. Mutation with a neutral alcohol. Aged for 7 months in oak barrels in air-conditioned cellars at 16°C.
Garnet red in colour. Nice nose of ripe fruit and spices. The mouth opens with aromas of morello cherries and forest fruits with chocolate notes. Nice spicy length. To be enjoyed as an aperitif with Roquefort puff pastries or at the end of a meal with blue-veined cheese, a chocolate dessert, strawberry pies, raspberry...
