FOG MOUNTAIN CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Fog Mountain forms part of the Boisset Collection, and pays homage to the Californian mountain ranges and the cooling fog, which have a huge influence in Californian viticulture. The mountains offer unique climate conditions and varied soils on which to plant vines, whilst the fog, with its cooling effect, creates the ideal microclimate, prolonging the growing season and allowing the grapes to fully ripen.
Fog Mountain’s California Cabernet Sauvignon was produced from select Cabernet grapes grown throughout California. The grapes are selected from vineyards that practice sustainable agriculture.
After fermentation, the wine underwent 100% malolactic fermentation. The final blend was aged, partially in oak, for six months prior to bottling.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep garnet colour with alluring aromas of dark red fruits on the nose. It has rich flavours of dried plums, Medjool dates, red currants and bright berry flavours on the palate. The wine has soft, round tannins and a lingering finish.
