Quite light in the glass but shows brightness, this is a mark of its quality. The body is light to medium with red cherry and raspberry coming to the fore. The tannins are slight but are enough to compliment the fruit without overwhelming it. An elegant wine from a world class winemaker.

Try with roast lamb or a venison pie.

A Shiraz and Grenache blend, the 2013 Wallace has a medium garnet-purple color and notes of kirsch, warm red currants and mulberries with suggestions of spice cake, orange peel and potpourri. Soft, generous and full-bodied, it gives tons of red and black fruit preserves flavors and a spicy undercurrent, finishing long and with a refreshing lift.

A pretty rendition of this blend. Floral, both blueberried and raspberried, and flush with jubey licorice and spice as it washes through the finish. Alcohol is well tucked into the fruit. Delicious
