The Glenallachie 10 Year Old Batch 11 59.4% ABV Speyside Single Malt
Established in 1967, GlenAllachie remained relatively unknown until 2017, when it was acquired from Pernod Ricard by industry legend Billy Walker and his partners, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. Since then, the distillery has flourished under independent Scottish ownership, producing exceptional single malts that emphasise craftsmanship and quality. GlenAllachie’s commitment to traditional methods and innovation has solidified its reputation as one of Speyside’s hidden gems.
This whisky is matured in a carefully selected combination of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso, red wine, and virgin oak casks. The result is a deep chestnut-hued spirit with a lively nose and a punchy palate. The influence of sherry casks adds layers of dark fruit and spice, while the virgin oak imparts a touch of sweetness and depth.
