Vina Cobos Felino Mendoza Malbec​ (Mendoza, Argentina)

From vineyard sites in Luján de Cuyo, Maipu and Valle de Uco at altitudes of 2300 to 3835 feet above sea level. The diurnal temperature variations, long growing season and altitude give a tremendous purity of fruit. These sites are semi desert and irrigation is an essential. Yields are limited to around 1.33 to 4.68 tons per hectare.  Violet red with black tones. An attractive nose with aromas of fresh black fruits and prunes. The palate displays good concentration, balance and sweet yet supple tannins. A beautiful accompaniment to any meal, but particularly well with hearty casseroles and red meat.  See more here

The Listening Station Chardonnay (Victoria, Australia)

Refreshingly unoaked, citrus and white peach flavours combine with a zesty fresh acidity and a clean, bright and linear mineral finish. The judicious addition of Langhorne Creek Chardonnay adds palate, weight and texture. Ultimately, this tangy sandily textured Chardonnay remains a lovely, early, galah-filled morning expression of Australia's night.  This bright and approachable style of Chardonnay is a great partner to a wide range of dishes, try with tempura fried vegetables, aromatic chicken salads or crispy Chinese pork.  See more here

Spice Route Swartland Pinotage (Swartland, South Africa)

Charles Back was a pioneer in the Swartland when he started Spice Route in 1998. “Without [Charles]…the Swartland would still be regarded as a rural backwater” wrote Tim Atkin. Today, the region is the source of many of South Africa’s outstanding wines, yet Spice Route remains one of the best and most credible producers in the region, due largely to the fact that they own their own vineyards. This wine is made from a single bushvine vineyard on the farm, Klein Amoskuil in Malmesbury.  Intense ruby red colour, with rich blackcurrant and cherry aromas. On the palate, there are intense dark fruit flavours that combine well with sweet vanilla oak aromas. See more here

Framingham Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand)

The Framingham label was launched in 1994 with one Riesling, and has since...expanded to include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.  Framingham produces wines from their 19.5 hectare estate vineyard (certified organic since 2014) and other selected sites. This is a Star winery in Marlborough and this Sauvignon Blanc delivers smoky aromatics, with flint, bitter lemon citrus, grapefruit and tropical hints. The palate is rich, slightly chewy, with good mouthfeel, texture and harmony. Flavours of yellow citrus, currant, papaya and sweet herbs carry through the finish. See more here

Vigneti del Salento Zolla Primitivo Di Manduria (Puglia, Italy)

The vineyards are mostly situated in the communes of Manduria and Sava and are owned by growers with whom Filippo has been working with for many years. Production is lower than its potential, which ensures the best quality grapes are selected. The red soils are calcareous clay and rich in iron, minerals and nutrients. 80% of the grapes come from old bush vines and the rest from trained vines that are at least 20 years old.  Ruby red colour with violet tones. Intense and complex perfumes of red cherries and blackberries, with some spice and leather which follow on to the palate. This wine has a rich and velvety texture, generous tannins and great length. See more here

Cave de Turckheim Sables et Galets Pinot Gris (Alsace, France)

These Herrenweg vineyards are based in the Fetch Valley, on limestone/sandy soils created during glacial shifts in the nearby Vosges mountains. Michel uses pneumatic pressing (of whole grapes), temperature controlled fermentation, no fining and light filtration before bottling - all to preserve fruit and aromatic qualities and elegance. His philosophy is to make wines with good acidity and fruit balance.  This wine is very expressive with violets, hints of acacia honey, quince, smokiness, sweet spices and crystallised ginger. The evolved palate opens dramatically with ginger notes and a lovely rich marmalade finish. See more here
