Chateau Argadens Bordeaux Superieur (Bordeaux)
Clad in a beautiful hue of garnet, this wine has a rich, open bouquet that reveals intense aromas of ripe, concentrated blackberried fruit and elegant oak. Domaine de Montredon Picpoul de Pinet (Languedoc)
KWM is perched at the Mouth of Carlingford Lough, a place famed for the quality of its oysters. It should come as no surprise therefore that we are constantly on the lookout for good Picpoul De Pinet, the ultimate wine to accompany oysters. Montredon offers aromas of green apple, citrus, pear and pear-drop. A crisp and refreshing palate with pear, green apple and a salty hint to the mineral-laden finish. Perfect with shellfish or as an aperitif. See more here
Mas d’Alcyon Plan de Dieu Cotes du Rhone Villages (Rhone Valley)
Full-bodied and textural with smooth, ripe tannins. The nose has liquorice and red and black fruit, which carry through to the palate with a salty, mineral edge. Structured yet approachable, the finish is long with hints of coffee and spice. Try with chicken and mushroom pie, or a lentil moussaka. See more here
Cave de Turckheim Sables et Galets Gewurztraminer (Alsace)
Sables et Galets Gewurztraminer shows lovely balance of ripeness, varietal purity and finesse. Fragrant rosewater and grapefruit aromas with a hint of sweet spice, pretty rich and pineappley, but with fine structure and complexity, spicy juicy fruit and acidity combine well to finish. See more here
