Make gifting easy for the wine lover in your life with this hand-picked selection designed to impress the most discerning of palates.

La Crema Saralees Chardonnay 2016

La Crema Vinera, means “best of the vine,” setting the standard for all they do since 1979. This family-owned and operated winery focuses exclusively on cool-climate appellations. They’re continually exploring these very special regions — passionate in their belief that they make uniquely expressive and elegant wines.

At the heart of the Russian River Valley, sits a majestic vineyard honouring the late Saralee Kunde, one of the region’s most beloved and respected winegrowing visionaries. Awash with rustic charm, the 200-acre vineyard features a variety of Chardonnay clones on a diverse spectrum of rootstocks as well as eight different soil types – mostly sandy/gravelly, or clay loams. This complex vineyard dotted with flower gardens and oak groves produces truly spectacular fruit.

Tenuta Arceno Il Fauno Di Arcanum 2017

Il Fauno di Arcanum is a Bordeaux-style blend that embodies the diversity of the estate and is sourced primarily from the Arceno di Sotto, La Curva, Colombaio and San Giovanni blocks. Located in the lower southwest section of the estate, in a warmer, exposed subsection that ripens early, the soils possess a significant amount of clay, with good water retention, and produce wines that tend to be more voluptuous and lush.

2017 was a one-of-a-kind vintage. An incredibly hot August ripened the grapes early. Legendary small yields for this vintage produced exceptionally intense and concentrated wines. Harvest began during the last days of August and finished within the first week of September. The nose exudes big ripe black cherries, earthy vanilla bean and notes of cedar from the Cabernet Franc. This powerful, luscious and mouth-filling wine has dominating flavours of ripe strawberries, white chocolate and cotton candy. The tannins provide structure yet are soft and supple. The finish is surprisingly racy with hints of black liquorice and spicy white pepper. This lively wine should be enjoyed with friends and family during any occasion.
