See more here Lawsons Dry Hills Sauvignon BlancCreated for everyday enjoyment, the Estate Range offers an authentic representation of both the grape variety and the region in which they are grown. This is achieved through a variety of vineyard management techniques including yield control. Once in the winery, the fruit undergoes minimal handling thereby retaining the candid influence from each vineyard, all of which have a role to play in the final blend of each wine. The fresh presentation embraces traditional elements while incorporating them within a contemporary, smart design. This wine is very pale straw with pronounced lemon and lime and tropical notes of passionfruit and melon. The palate is crisp and elegant with lovely length and concentration. This wine shows lovely clarity with bright fruit and a chalky, dry finish that highlights the mineral tones. It is one of the oldest Stations in Marlborough, dating back to the 1840s when it was settled by Constantine Dillon. In 2013 Brent Marris of Marisco Vineyards purchased the 2,200 ha property with sights set for not only its pastoral farming potential but also to convert a large portion of the land to the vineyard. Something Brent does superbly well!This has produced a wine with ripe tropical flavours including peach, guava, melon and citrus. On the palate this wine fleshy and very mellow, It has beautiful purity and undeniable energy, the finish long and refreshing. Pretty much the benchmark Marlborough style with slightly more friendly acidity, this Leefield Station is a memorable debut for what we suspect will become an iconic wine. See more here 3 Wooly Sheep Sauvignon BlancThis classy white is made by the Lawsons Family Vineyards, a byword for quality New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc for nearly 20 years. Its fun labelling has created a bit of a cult following for itself, but with the quality of the wine its not surprising to see so many repeat buys. Chock full of lime fruit, elderflower, and grapefruit this white is great on its own or try with salads, moules marinere and most other seafood.
