Cabriz Dao Tinto Selecionada (Dao, Portugal)

40% Alfrocheiro; 30% Aragonez; 30% Touriga Nacional. Cabriz tells a story that is born in Dão, on a trip through the heart of Portugal, through the lands, hills, and people, presenting a wide portfolio that seeks to fulfill all segments and moments of consumption but always following the same principle: to produce wines that have a great quality.  In 1989, in the heart of the Dão wine region,  Dão Sul is born. Inspired by Quinta de Cabriz, a property with a magnificent manor house and a chapel of the XVII century, Dão Sul has become a reference for winemaking in the Dão.  Of the vineyards surrounded by pine trees, the grapes produced in integrated production give way to wines with balanced acidity and delicate aromas.  The red is Intense ruby colour.  Fruity nose, full of fresh red fruits, forest fruit jelly, light in spices and toasted notes.  Fruity, soft, silky, lively, elegant and harmonious on the palate. Delicious and moreish!  Ideal with soft cheeses or moderately-cooked white and red meats kitchen. Mediterranean, Chinese, Indian, and African cuisine. Consume at 18°C. See more here

Vila Nova Vinho Verde (Minho, Portugal)

Produced in the Entre-Douro-e-Minho sub-region of Sousa, Vila Nova vineyards are influenced by winds from the Atlantic Ocean creating the perfect climate to ripen varieties such as Fernao Pires, Avesso and Trajadura.  This wine has Floral, citrus aromas which lead on to the palate with more bright citrus acidity and a lingering finish. This is a perfect choice for seafood and salads and beautiful Spring/Summer drinking. See more here

Casa de Santar Reserva Branco (Dao, Portugal)

A blend of Encruzado, Bical and Cerceal Branco coming from the granite-based vineyards of the beautiful Dao region, Casa de Santar Reserva Branco is a classy glass of wine.  Tasted blind you might mistake it for a good Burgundy such is the flavour and poise.  50% is fermented in French oak barrels and then it spends a further 6 months in barrel to harmonise before bottling.  Lemon-coloured with a defined green edge.  Fresh citrus aromas, with stone fruit flavours and a creamy vanilla note from the barrels, lead to a fresh, really well-balanced palate which has you coming back for more and more.  A delicious glass of wine perfect with roast chicken or fish in creamy sauces. See more here

Vinho do Reino 'A river runs through it' (Douro)

The property is located in the municipality of Tabuaço, in the parish of Granjinha, along the right bank of the river Távora. A plot of 30 hectares of vines, some of them over 100 years old sit on schist soils, with some granitic outcrops at an altitude between 250 to 470 m, with hot summers and little annual rainfall.  After a careful selection of the grapes, destemming and pressing the must is fermented in stainless steel vats at 22ºC for 15 days with gentle extraction of the colour and aromas, and to preserve the freshness. The wine is rested in stainless steel tank before bottling, with no oak ageing.  An opulent and welcoming aroma, with notes of red fruit and wild berries on the nose, yet the plate shows a lightness of touch and a freshness of bright red berries, bramble fruits and a wonderfully light tannin structure. Suits rich game dishes such as duck with rice, partridge and chorizo, where the bright acidity cuts through. See more here
