Includes one each of the following:

(If a wine is unavailable we will replace with an equivalent or superior substitute)

Cote Mas Rose Aurore Sud De France (Languedoc, France)

This is a gorgeous rose from the Paul Mas Domaines. A dry and crisp rose with a real elegance. On the nose there are notes of raspberry and cranberry along with a little strawberry.  The palate is much the same, red fruits and a little mineral edge. A really composed and lovely finish which is dry and crisp with good length. I highly recommend this rose for light evening drinking or sunny afternoon sipping. See more here

The Ned Marlborough Southern Valleys Pinot Rose (Marlborough, New Zealand)

A sensitively handled blend of two Pinot varieties; one where the Noir delivers a long, saturated core of pure berry fruit flavour with crisp acid edges and a lightly drying tannin tail whilst the Gris provides the perfect juxtaposition – a subtle richness that lends fruit sweetness, flesh and palate texture. A highly versatile wine that neatly bridges the gap between stand-alone, afternoon sipper and being enjoyed alongside a broad range of diverse food styles. Try The Ned Pinot Rose 2016 with turkey larb - stuffed fresh spring rolls. See more here

Farnese Fantini Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rose (Abruzzo, Italy)

The wines from Abruzzo became famous worldwide in the XVI century and the Farnese name has been instrumental in the wines for the region since those times.   The Fantini range rose was harvested at the beginning of October after which followed a brief maceration on skins (about 6 hours). Fermentation was then without skins for 15 days at 12°C in order to obtain ideal colour and taste.  The result is a bright cherry pink colour. Intense and persistent, delicate fragrance, very fruity with notes of small red fruits (strawberry). See more here

Pierre Chainier 1749 Rose d'Anjou (Loire Valley, France)

Pierre Chainier source classic Loire varietal wines as well as owning some excellent properties throughout the region. For both elements of their wine business, they look to principles of agriculture raisonne alongside the most modern wine-making techniques. Clos de Nouys is a 25 acre estate within the Vouvray appellation, one of the oldest in the AOC with vines averaging 35 years old. Its parcels of vines were already listed amongst the best sites on geological maps dating from 1907. See more here

Ai Galera Encantado Rose (Tejo, Portugal)

Long overlooked by the wine cognoscenti, the burgeoning interest in Portuguese wine is finally resulting in more awareness of the potential of this proud country. The previously undervalued Tejo region, lying to the south of Lisbon, is capable of producing wines of enormous value and character – something that is captured by Ai Galera. Inspired by the long, and sometimes extremely colourful history of the region – most notably the life of literati Marchioness Leonor of Távora, Ai Galera’s arresting imagery and even more arresting wine quality demands and hollers for your attention. See more here

Percheron Grenache Rose (Swartland, South Africa)

A beautiful light crimson colour with strawberry laces nose. It’s showing some of the muscle and spice of this mature Grenache vineyard that comes across as assertive pink grapefruit acidity with cranberry texture. This Garnacha rather than Provence style rosé has great zest and terrific purpose. Try with Salmon and gravadlax, good ol' fashion prawn cocktail or freshly shucked oysters. See more here
