Palacio de Bornos Rueda Verdejo (Rueda, Spain)

Located in Rueda, Palacio De Bornos was founded and began making wine in 1976, alongside the Appelation of Origin Rueda. The initial years were dedicated to consolidating the brand in the Castilla y Leon region, to later begin a rapid expansion both nationally and internationally. Palacio de Bornos was the first winery in Spain´s Castilla y León region to produce a sparkling wine, in 1978. Since those early days they have sought to exploit the great potential of the Verdejo grape in a single variety wine, with its individual, unique character, to produce a very high quality traditional-method sparkling wine. Palacio de Bornos boasts 308 hectares of their own vineyards, in the towns of Rueda, Pollos and La Seca, which is more than 30 years old.  he Palacio De Bornos Verdejo presents hues of yellow colour with greenish tones. Intense floral aroma, fresh acidity and fruity notes on the palate.

Enjoy it as an aperitif or pair it with grilled vegetables, shellfish and tempura.

Casa de Santar Dao Branco (Dao, Portugal)

Casa de Santar is one of the most esteemed wineries in Portugal’s Dão region, with a winemaking tradition dating back to the 18th century. Nestled in the heart of Dão, the estate is known for its historic manor house, stunning vineyards, and a deep commitment to crafting wines that reflect the region’s unique terroir. Benefiting from the region’s granite soils, high-altitude vineyards, and temperate climate, Casa de Santar produces wines of elegance and balance. The Casa de Santar Dão Branco 2023 is a beautifully expressive white wine crafted primarily from native Portuguese grape varieties, including Encruzado, Bical, and Cerceal-Branco. The grapes are hand-harvested and gently pressed, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. This vintage presents vibrant aromas of citrus, white peach, and delicate floral notes, complemented by a crisp minerality and well-integrated acidity. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with a lingering finish that showcases its refined structure.

Ideal pairings include grilled seafood, lemon-herb roasted chicken, creamy cheeses, and Mediterranean salads. Serve chilled to enhance its lively character.

Inviniti Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand)

Mendieta Osaba Osaba Mendi Rioja (Rioja, Spain)

Mendieta Osaba Wines is a small production, family-owned winery located at the skirts of the Sierra Cantabria, more precisely, Lanciego in the heart of the much sought after Rioja Alavesa terroir.  The Mendieta Osaba family has been passionately growing grapes on its family's historic vineyards for generations. Juantxu Mendieta, a.k.a. "Mendi" by his friends and family in his pueblo, produces quality, handcrafted wines that are limited in production and a true reflection of this very special terroir.

We use grapes from our 30-55 year old family vineyards located in Lanciego, Rioja Alavesa. The chalky, clay - limestone soils, with a depth of 70-90 cm and about 5 km of rock beneath it, help retain rainfall and minerals. The high altitudes help our grapes acquire and retain moderate acid levels and good color while the old age of our vineyards guarantee low production and superb quality.

Deep cherry red color with violet tones. Bursting with plush, luxurious flavors of ripe blackberries followed with organic oak spicy, vanilla and cocoa notes. Superb balance that delicately flows to a beautiful, long and juicy finish.

Beef, chicken, ribs, barbecues and/or cheese.

Bennati Soraighe Ireos Rosso del Veronese (Veneto, Italy)

“Ireos” (usually called “Iris”) is a wildflower that has always grown on the steepest sides of the terraced vineyards of the “Veronese”, and its long roots help sustain the ground. Ireos is a complex and elegant wine, round and supple, shining in the glass with the wonderful violet shades of the Iris flower”. Bennati family

Hand-harvested, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. Then, berries and must are put into special wine tanks, where selected yeasts are inoculated to start and carry out the alcoholic fermentation. This takes place at a controlled temperature (24-25°C) to extract the fruitier components of the berry skins and this great variety of interesting elements that give great complexity to the wines. After fermentation, it remains in stainless steel and is then aged in oak barrels and barriques. A further refinement in bottles for 180 days. The wine is only partially filtered to allow for a more complete expression of all varietal aromas of the grapes. Any natural sediments in the wine are a further proof of its genuineness.

Deep red wine with notes of ripe wild berries and lighter notes of tobacco, coffee and juniper. On the palate, it is velvety, complex and elegant thanks to its soft tannins.

Perfect with roast veal and lamb dishes, as well as mushrooms and seasoned cheese

Woodstock Cottage Block Cabernet Sauvignon (McLaren Vale, Australia)

Stunning value Cabernet from Australia!  Made by 3rd generation of the Collett family, Peter Collett follows in the footsteps of father Scott and grandfather Doug to showcase the quality of the McLaren Vale produce. Woodstock Cottage Block Cabernet is selected from a single parcel of old vines on the Woodstock Estate in McLaren Vale.  The Cottage Block name comes from a cottage dating from the 1800's that was on the site of a vineyard and orchard purchased in the early 1970's by the Collett family which was then replaced with Cabernet Sauvignon.  Generations of the Collett family lived and grew up on this cottage, so the adjoining vineyard became known as the Cottage Block. This red is packed full of ripe black fruit flavours with dark chocolate tones, and has soft enough tannins to drink on its own but will work equally well with grilled flavours.
