Biscardo UVAM Pinot Grigio delle Venezie 2023 ​(Veneto, Italy)

The Biscardo Family, with a winemaking legacy spanning over 150 years, hails from Soave in Italy. Led by brothers Maurizio and Martino, they’ve crafted wines that embody irresistible drinkability, aromatic purity, and exceptional value for money. The Pinot Grigio grapes grow on vines aged 10-15 years. Some vines thrive on limestone subsoil in the plain, while others cling to the slopes and terraces of surrounding hills. This unique terroir imparts delicate minerality, structural integrity, and typical floral fragrances to the wine. Expect an ambrosial nose with delightful floral aromas. On the palate, tropical fruit, melon, guava, and peach flavours abound, balanced by zippy acidity. It’s a light, refreshing wine suitable for any occasion.

Enjoy it as an aperitif or pair it with light fish dishes, chicken, or pasta.​

Cabriz Dao Tinto Selecionada 2022 (Dao, Portugal)

Cabriz tells a story that is born in Dão, in a trip through the heart of Portugal, through the lands, hills, and people, presenting a wide portfolio that seeks to fulfil all segments and moments of consumption but always following the same principle: to produce wines that have a great quality. In 1989, in the heart of the Dão wine region,  Dão Sul was born. Inspired in Quinta de Cabriz, a property with a magnificent manor house and a chapel of the XVII century, Dão Sul has become a reference of winemaking in the Dão. Of the vineyards surrounded by pine trees, the grapes produced in integrated production give way to wines with balanced acidity and delicate aromas. It has an intense ruby colour.  Fruity nose, full of fresh red fruits, forest fruit jelly, light in spices and toasted notes.  Fruity, soft, silky, lively, elegant and harmonious. on the palate. Delicious and moreish!

Ideal with soft cheeses or white and red meats.

Care Blanco Sobre Lias Garnacha Blanca Chardonnay 2023​ (Carinena, Spain)

Bodegas Care was founded in the year 2000 as a familiar and modern project focused on grape and wine quality. With 150 hectares and 4000m2 state-of-the-art facilities for winemaking, the winery aims to lead an area with a great heritage. CARE is the brand and intends to be the New Face of Garnacha in Aragon. Bright pale yellow colour with green tones, that denote its youth. On the nose, fresh, clean and intense aromas, especially fruity ones green apple, pineapple and tropical fruits, with a touch of white flowers over a background of hay and aromatic herbs. On the palate the wine is very fruity with balanced acidity, it is intense, elegant and has a long aftertaste.

Easy going and enjoyable it's a good 'any occasion' wine and also great with fish, seafood and rice dishes.

Toscolo Chianti 2020 (Tuscany, Italy)

Founded in 1988 by Neil and Maria Empson, Toscolo was a labour of love for the Empsons who wanted to express their longtime passion for the Chianti region. They called on friend and world-renowned winemaker, Franco Bernabei to help style the wines, combining fruit and finesse. Toscolo’s vineyards include some of the finest sites in Chianti’s major regions as well as intriguingly diverse terrains and microclimates. The grapes are cherry-picked according to harvest conditions in the individual terroirs and microclimates. This wine boasts a ruby colour. With notes of berry fruit and iris confirmed on a soft, round, well-balanced palate showing good body, fruity flavours and intensity.

An all-around food wine to match with red and white meat and cheese.

Wakefield Estate Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Clare Vally, Australia)

Sourced from family-owned vineyards spanning 500 hectares, one of the largest single estate plantings in Australia. Some fruit also comes from trusted growers in Coonawarra. Grapes are fermented in original “Potter” fermenters, allowing excellent skin maceration. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and ages for 12 months (90% various barrel ages, 10% new). Deep red with purple hues. Aromas of blackcurrant, spice, tomato leaf, and eucalyptus. Subtle cedar and dark chocolate notes. Intense blackcurrant and cassis flavours, fine tannins, and a balanced, complex palate.


This complements rich red meat stews, steak in peppery sauces or full-flavoured cheeses. 

Wild House Chenin Blanc 2023​ (Western Cape, South Africa)

'Chenin is the backbone grape varietal of South Africa; it’s the most profusely planted variety in our country and is closely associated to our wine-making identity. To capture the true sense of place and terroir, Wild House made this wine a 100% unoaked Chenin Blanc. Fermenting only in stainless steel ensures the freshness, character and liveliness of the wine is maintained. To tame some of this energy and add more complexity and depth to the final wine, it was kept it on its fine lees for approximately nine months. This also adds to the lush mouthfeel and keeps the wine fresher for longer.' Ripe peach and tropical fruit on the nose with fresh citrus notes. Honeyed and textured on the palate with crisp acidity and hints of honey dew melon and lychee leading to a bright, zesty finish with fresh lemony acidity.

Brilliant with seafood, poultry, chargrilled vegetables.
