Includes two of each of the following (4 of each if selecting All red or All white):

(If a wine is unavailable we will replace it with an equivalent or superior substitute)

The Jumper Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand)

The Jumper Sauvignon Blanc is made by Hunters, one of the oldest wineries in Marlborough, and offers up all that we love about the variety and the region. Packed full of Gooseberry, kiwi, passionfruit and asparagus flavours, these are wines which are hard not to like.

Enjoy it as an aperitif or pair it with grilled vegetables, shellfish and tempura.

Funkstille Gruner Veltliner 2023 (Niederösterreich, Austria)

Now more than ever we need a little ‘Funkstille’ or radio silence in our lives, Funkstille aims to capture Austria’s most famous varieties and archetypal styles under some eye-popping packaging. Created by a 16th generation wine producer in Niederösterreich this characterful range. All work in the vineyard is carried out sustainably, with the use of their own fertilisers made from grape skins, manure and straw from their fields, to improve the soil structure and vitality of their vines. The south-east and south-west exposure of the slopes provides conditions for perfect ripening. Grapes are harvested in the early morning to harness acidity and pure fruit expression, and taken to their energy neutral winery for vinification.

This Gruner Veltliner shows off subtle exotic hints, ripe pear and fresh citrus flavours, it's a dry wine with complex flavours. The palate is rich with flavours of melon and grapefruit with a refreshing, zippy finish.

A versatile style it will work with rice dishes, light chicken dishes, sea fish or shellfish

Teatro Latino Zibibbo Terre Siciliane I.G.P 2023 (Sicily, Italy)

This Zibibbo comes from the volcanic soils of southern Sicily, kissed by the shining Mediterranean sun and caressed by the warm African winds. The complex aroma of this grape variety featuring intense floral and fruity notes is enhanced by ageing sur lie in steel tanks with bâtonnage. Dry, smooth, pleasantly tangy and very lingering finish, an aperitif full of surprises; excellent served at dinner with main fish courses. We would even go so far as to call it “a seductive white”.

Try with fish dishes or Asian spiced dishes, particularly Indian spiced. A fish curry would be a treat!

Chateau Maucoil Cotes du Rhone Villages Organic Rouge 2023 (Rhone Valley, France)

Its proximity to the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards and the similarity of its soil (a mixture of sand and pebbles), as well as the old vines from which it hails, gives this Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages great concentration and loads of character. Harvesting is carried out by hand and the grapes are transported in 15kg perforated crates. The grapes are sorted berry by berry before going into vat. A blend of Grenache (50%) Syrah (25%) Mourvèdre (25%), each grape variety and parcel is vinified separately. After a fermentation period of around 25 days with pumping over, rack-and-return, and punching down operations, the wines are drawn off and then aged in vats until bottling.

A beautiful southern Rhône wine. Ripe, fresh sweet-spiced black fruits on the nose, this organic Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages is full-bodied yet finely structured and balanced with a nicely lifted, finish and good length.

A lovely glass with a wood-fired Pizza, or medium-rare seared beef served with oven-roasted tomatoes.

Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Tempranillo 2022 (Ribera del Duero, Spain)

Wine is an art. If you know how to listen, it speaks to you, it lets you know when it needs racking and rest. It’s just like a living creature that we have to understand, tend to and care for."

So said Emilio Moro, founder of the estate. Three generations later this belief is still upheld by José and Javier Moro. Based in the world-famous village of Pesquera de Duero in the heart of Ribera del Duero the brothers believe that their wine has a life of its own and with each vintage, a part of them is immortalised in it. “It evokes the land where it comes from”. Eschewing traditional notions of classification like Crianza and Reserva, the family were eager to create wines with personality and individuality. Expressions true to their vineyards and their family’s heritage. Creating reds from their cherished Tinto Fino, a prized clone of Tempranillo, and more recently crafting Godello wines from Bierzo.

Finca Resalso is the name of a historic vineyard that was planted in 1932, the year Emilio Moro was born. This is the name given to the wine made from grapes from their younger vines grown in a mixture of clay, stone and chalky soils. The wine macerates with its own skins for 12 days, so later the malolactic fermentation is made for 30 days in stainless steel. Finally, it is aged in 3-year-old French oaks barrels.

Deep cherry red in colour with a violet rim. It is honest, intense and very expressive on the nose. The primary aromas of Tempranillo, such as blackberry and blackcurrant, stand out. It is well-structured in the mouth with mellow tannins and well-balanced acidity.

Tapas is always a winner, but lovely with barbecued pork or chorizo flavours.

Bodega Urqo Los Durmientes Malbec  (Mendoza, Argentina)

Named after the railways sleepers (durmientes) that line the vineyard, this is made from 100% Tupungato fruit on deep sandy soils shot with a seam of limestone and aged with a tiny blob of oak.

A Classic Uco Valley Malbec and extraordinary value. Its source vineyards very much shape the wine, in its graphite nose, gentle floral notes, over a serious palate rich in minerals, iron and structure. A seriously foodie Malbec from serious vineyard.

Try with Ribeye steak, homemade cheeseburgers, grilled peppers and goat cheese.
