Les Hauts de Montrouge Comobard Sauvignon Blanc
Les Hauts de Montrouge winery is located in Nogaro in the Gers Region (South West of France). Established in 1963, it unites 60 farmers, wine growers, following the very best winemaking tradition over a vineyard of above 900 hectares. The land of d’Artagnan, the Gascony country offers a sandy soil to the vines of the hills of Nogaro. This unique terroir gives the Côtes de Gascogne grapes a strong personality and a specificity famous to all lovers of wines and spirits from South West of France. Growers here cultivate both noble and traditional grape varieties such as white Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Colombard, Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Merlot, Tannat and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Colombard Sauvignon to the look is pale yellow with green tinges, with a intense aroma of pear and lemon while the palate is lively, with fresh citrus fruits and peach notes.
Delicious as an aperitif, with shellfish and grilled fish. Should be served at 8°C
