Les Hauts de Montrouge Rose
Les Hauts de Montrouge winery is located in Nogaro in the Gers Region (South West of France). Established in 1963, it unites 60 farmers, wine growers, following the very best winemaking tradition over a vineyard of above 900 hectares. The land of d’Artagnan, the Gascony country offers a sandy soil to the vines of the hills of Nogaro. This unique terroir gives the Côtes de Gascogne grapes a strong personality and a specificity famous to all lovers of wines and spirits from South West of France. Growers here cultivate both noble and traditional grape varieties such as white Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Colombard, Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Merlot, Tannat and Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
A blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot its a beautiful pale rose colour with notes of strawberries, blackcurrants and raspberries and a crisp, fresh red fruit palate.
