Are there two recipe's for Habana Club 3 yrs rum. I taste a distinct difference from rum I bought in South America without the original “ written on the label?.
Also Mexico produces rum for Havana Club 3 yrs rum with the word original on the label, and also stating that it’s made in Cuba and imported from Cuba….
?????? I have found a distinct different taste, with English words on the bottle and claiming to be imported from Cuba? Just curious?

Thanks for your question. To be honest we wouldn't know the answer to that question and it would be something to put to Havana Club themselves as the producer. Potentially if you are US-based the 'Havana Club' you get is produced in Mexico and not Cuba due to the trading issues with Cuba, where the rest of the world would get the Cuban version per se as those issues don't exist. That could potentially be a reason for a difference in taste as they would then be coming from 2 different sources. As I suggest though its more a question for the producer if you get in touch with them.
