CAVINO was distinguished as The Best Greek Winery of 2009 by International Wine and Spirits magazine, UK.
Made using the unusual Roditis (85%) and more well know Muscat (15%) this dry white wine from the sub-mountainous Achaia region of Greece has an elegant and balanced flavour with a lovely citrus fruit nose. The grapes for this are carefully gathered and handled after which alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts take place at low temperatures to retain as much freshness and fruity flavours as possible.
The resulting wine is fruity and very pleasant and may be paired with both sweet-sour salads and plain seafood dishes.
