Krohn LBV 2017
Late Bottled Vintage Ports are an increasingly popular style, and this, unfiltered, wine from Krohn is no exception. LBVs are produced from just a single year's crop (but not every year), and with the vintage specified on the bottle, each LBV will express the particular characteristics of that vintage.
Deep ruby colour with upfront aromas of black plums, spice and dried herbs. Firm and evident tannins with a rich, long finish.
Perfect with full flavoured cheeses, especially blue cheeses such as stilton or Roquefort. Also delicious with chocolate or berry fruits.
