Le Vaux Saint Georges Pinot Noir 2019

The vineyard extends mainly over the hillsides overlooking the right bank of the River Cher in the municipalities of Thésée and Monthou sur Cher, near the châteaux of Chenonceaux and Chambord.

This wine sees 15% new oak with its barrel ageing which gives it good structure but still letting the strawberry & raspberry fruits come to the fore. There’s a hint of richer, darker berry fruits there too with a dash of white pepper in the mix.
