MAD TOKAJI DRY FURMINT

Furmint is a well known and well-loved variety, more so for the gorgeous sweet wines produced in the Tokaji region of Hungary, than for the Dry version. It is Furmint made as a dry wine that has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame though, and for good reason too.

The MÁD Dry Furmint is a very interesting and extremely enjoyable bottle of wine. On the nose, there are aromas of apple, pear and honeysuckle. The palate has a viscous waxy nature, with flavours of ripe pear, apple, white flowers, a little pepper and a hint of tropical fruit. A lengthy finish with a stony character. Very Enjoyable.
