MARTIN WASSMER SPATBURGUNDER TROCKEN
Martin Wassmer is a leading producer in Germany's Baden region located in the Southwest of the country along the French and Swiss borders, where winemaking dates back hundred's of years. With a particularly good reputation for quality Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir), this producer is one to watch out for and certainly one to try if you've never experienced their wines and you enjoy a glass of Burgundy.
Their premium wines can comfortably sit with some of the best in Burgundy with power and finesse, complexity and elegance.
From this expression, expect a light-bodied style with delicate floral, forest fruit aromas and soft tannins and well-balanced acidity. A lovely wine by itself or will suit white meat dishes and meatier style fish.

"Distinctly lighter than your average German pinot noir, unadulterated by oak and carrying a breezy charm. Perfumed and with sweet raspberry fruit, there's a lovely intensity with the soft tannins before an attractive red cherry hit on the finish.
