The quest for uncommon casks led them to Japan and a first for Irish whiskey. Virgin Japanese Cedarwood casks married with a single pot still whiskey, a curious combination with a different taste.
The nose shows eucalyptus, fresh botanicals, and balsamic undertones. On the palate, herbal tea, caraway seeds, clove spice, while the finish delivers delicate fruits, sweet-scented wood and rich spices.
