2005 Muga "Prado Enea" Gran Reserva Rioja
The Muga family would like to share this limited edition of 832 bottles that have been kept in an optimal state of persevation in the historic bottle rack of Bodegas Muga. Now, in October 2022, they are releasing them to the market so that all Muga Seleccion Especial lovers can enjoy them.
The nose is almost as young and undeveloped as the 2004 but it's on the palate that the 2005 shows a little more polish and is perhaps a little less complete than the 2004. . In any case, it might be a matter of personal taste, because both years are exceptional. Here, the oak seems more evident. So, today I preferred the 2004. There were some 150,000 bottles of this.
