Muga Rioja Prado Enea Gran Reserva
The Muga family would like to share this limited edition of 832 bottles that have been kept in an optimal state of persevation in the historic bottle rack of Bodegas Muga. Now, in October 2022, they are releasing them to the market so that all Muga Seleccion Especial lovers can enjoy them.
The 2000 Prado Enea Gran Reserva is 80% Tempranillo with the balance of Garnacha, Mazuela and Graciano. The wine is aged for one year in oak vats followed by 3 years in new French oak and 3 years in bottle before release. Dark ruby-coloured, the wine's appearance reveals a bit of age in a traditional style. It offers a complex bouquet of cedar, pencil lead, mineral, spice box, and blackberry. On the palate, it is elegant with ample sweet, ripe fruit, good flavours and moderate length.
