The young tannins are already supple and well integrated ensuring a delicate, silky finish. To be enjoyed before up to 2022.

CONTRERAS RUIZ EDALO ROSADO

From the Condado de Huelva, in the South Western most corner of Spain, Edalo Rosado is made using 100% Syrah and is completely unoaked.  Macerated on skins for a short period to take the beautiful pink colour with as little tannin as possible, the Edalo Rosado is a wonderful example of balance in a wine.  Lots of soft red fruit characters of strawberry, raspberry and cherry, the Edalo Rosado also exhibits a wonderful candyfloss character on the nose, which makes it very inviting.  Dry to the finish the fruit profile of the wine gives it a sense of sweetness without being at all sugary.

CASA MARIN SAUVIGNON BLANC

The Cipreses Sauvignon Blanc is definitely an Estate flagship.  With its numerous awards, including two-time winner for Best Sauvignon Blanc in the World (Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2010 and Decanter World Wine Awards 2010), this wine is considered Chiles best Sauvignon Blanc and among the best Sauvignon Blancs in the world. Often described as an extremely seductive wine, a mix of stone fruit cocktail, green citrus aromas, wet stones and mineral hints that add an exotic feel. On the palate it is saline, crisp, and clean, resulting in a unique finesse.  A small amount, 7%, is matured in old french oak barrels to add a layer of complexity to the wine, which is a must try for any Sauvignon Blanc enthusiast.

Beautiful with fish dishes, but will work well with green vegetable orientated dishes and spicy dishes too.

DOMAINE DE LA DENANTE SAINT-VERAN 2016

Like the rising prow of some ancient fossilised ship, the Roche de Soultré dominates the surrounding landscape of the Mâconnais. This limestone escarpment stands tall over the 10 hectare vineyard where Robert Martin and his son, Damien, work their land lutte-raisonnée. Here they create elegant, restrained, mineral driven Mâcon-Davayé and rich, full, but elegant St Véran. These wines are deliciously drinkable and incredible value.

A Classic white Burgundy with no oak, glistening with finesse, such is the tension between elegance and fullness: gentle scents mingle with a lively freshness, the soft and generous Chardonnay fruit is perfectly poised on the palate leading to good length in the finish. Perfect with white meats such as chicken, turkey and pork.
