A modern mezcal, crafted in the heart of Oaxaca.
Sustainably grown agave hearts, cooked in their underground oven for up to 10 days, before being double distilled in small batches to produce Ojo de Dios Mezcal.
Subtle floral notes on the nose with white grapes, a hint of spice & sub tones of new leather & sweet smoke.
Delicate dried apricots & plums give way to a rich flavourful mouthfeel of toasted pineapple & umeshu notes leading into a long dry finish of black tea & sweet smoke with a creamy, silky cashew and tobacco flavour.
