Does this wine have sulphites added?

Yes it does. At what level we can't exactly say, likley to be between 70-100 parts per million but white wines require more sulphites than reds to preserve them as there are more natural preservatives in grape skins which play an integral part in red wine production compared to white where the skins are virtually immediately disgarded. Howvever wine per se still has very low levels of added sulphites compared to say dried fruits such as raisins which would have up to 100x more sulphites added as a preservative. These could sit at between 500-2000 parts per million, Hope this helps. Andrew

Can you assure me that oyster Bay sauvignion blanc by Malborough New Zealand is suitable for vegetarians as my daughter in law is a strict vegetarian. I find keeping her happy very difficult.
