Tenuta Lena Di Mezzo Monte Del Fra Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Monte del Frà has a unique Italian history, led by their forefather, Massimo Bonomo, who in the mid-twentieth century (Est. 1958), rented his first group of croplands in the northern part of Italy within the hills surrounding Lake Garda in the province of Verona. This is a place where some of the most renowned Italian wines originate.
After sixty-two years, the management of Monte del Fra’ remains under control of the Bonomo’s family. The second generation is represented by two brothers, Eligio and Claudio, which is then followed by the third generation, Marica, Silvia and Massimo. As a family they have strong and concise values: the loyalty to their land and its appreciation and an increasingly sustainable agriculture.
This is a deep garnet red. Intense with fine tannins, fruity, spices aromas, vanilla, cloves, chocolate, and coffee. Aromas of leather, tobacco, prune dried berries a total umami experience. Medium acidity, with fine tannins and full body. The flavours remain true to the nose.
