The White Hag Gola Secca Italian Dry Stout 4.8% ABV
Setting out to make interesting and innovative beers, with a nod towards the ancient and classic beer styles that were common in generations of the hinterland.
While known for its award-winning stout range and a stellar set of IPAs that make up most of The White Hag core range. The Púca sour range has captured the imagination of the beer consumer who wants a tart, effervescent mixed fermentation sour beer. It’s supported by Heather Sour, Apple sour and a few other special and collaboration sours made along the way.
The White Hag collaborated with many peers in the industry and have made beers with breweries from across the world that have been truly groundbreaking.
Discovered as a child on the slopes of Ben Bulben by Bran & Sceolan, this young and sprightly warrior spent his summers foraging and hunting the mountains and woodlands. These local flavours are reflective in the taste experience – Fruity hop notes, balanced with lush Irish malt create a complex, sessionable IPA.
Brewed alongside Brewfist, Gola Secca is a dark dry stout meeting an Italian Pilsner. The name Gola Secca is inspired by this brew's dry, full-mouthedness - derived from the phrase "dry throat" in Italian.
