Vina Cobos Bramare Malbec Lujan De CuyoLuján de Cuyo, is known historically as the ‘prime zone’ for wine-growing in Mendoza. Its high elevation(3,251-3,467 ft), in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of high quality fruit. Deep red colour with violet hues. Very intense aromas of pepper, cloves, cinnamon and other spices, along with black fruits and roses. It is a complex wine, long and structured; Wide and firm tannins and a long end with a lovely red fruit aftertaste. A succulent wine made to be drunk with succulent meat like a slowroasted leg of lamb. James Suckling 94 Points A tight and beautiful wine with sliced berries, chocolate, hazelnut, and bitter chocolate. Medium body. Medium chewy fruit and a chocolate, walnut and stone finish. Needs time to open. Drink after 2024. 94 Points, JS, March 2023.
