Woodstock Cottage Block Cabernet is selected from a single parcel of old vines on the Woodstock Estate in McLaren Vale. The Cottage Block name comes from a cottage dating from the 1800's that was on the site of a vineyard and orchard purchased in the early 1970's by the Collett family which was then replaced with Cabernet Sauvignon. Generations of the Collett family lived and grew up on this cottage, so the adjoining vineyard became known as the Cottage Block.
This red is packed full of ripe black fruit flavours with dark chocolate tones, and has soft enough tannins to drink on its own but will work equally well with grilled flavours.
