Mendieta Osaba Mendi Rioja 2021 (Rioja, Spain)

Mendieta Osaba Wines is a small production, family-owned winery located at the skirts of the Sierra Cantabria, more precisely, Lanciego in the heart of the much sought-after Rioja Alavesa terroir. The Mendieta Osaba family has been passionately growing grapes on its family's historic vineyards for generations. Juantxu Mendieta, a.k.a. "Mendi" by his friends and family in his pueblo, produces quality, handcrafted wines that are limited in production and a true reflection of this very special terroir.  Brilliant cherry red colour with violet tones, lush blackberries and a dash of spice on the nose while the palate has a smooth texture, clean, juicy flavours, lots of body and a long finish.

Mayfly Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (Dillons Point, New Zealand)

The Mayfly, so symbolic of the first warmth of summer, drift down New Zealand's crystalline streams and rivers providing food for the voracious trout that have made this a mecca for fly-fisherman the world over. The same pristine environment has proved to be the best place to produce the vibrant and refreshing Mayfly wines.  A beautiful youthful and exquisite Sauvignon Blanc with prominent asparagus, mature peach and exotic fruit notes on the nose. Fresh and deliciously crisp with excellent natural acidity and a long citric and peach aftertaste as well as a rounded body and good structure.

Herdade Monte Da Cal Alentejano Tinto 2019 (Alentejo, Portugal)

Surrounded by the quiet landscape of northern Alentejo, Monte da Cal merges perfectly with the soothing environment of the nature in this part of the country and is rimmed by an infinity of vineyards, cork oak trees, and olive trees, that only disappear far away on the horizon. Monte da Cal fully addresses the goal of producing high-quality wines, offering great value. Monte da Cal's Tinto is medium-bodied with soft tannins and an easy-drinking nature but packed with enough red and black fruit flavours to keep you coming back again and again.

Vila Nova Vinho Verde 2022 (Minho, Portugal)

Produced in the Entre-Douro-e-Minho sub-region of Sousa, Vila Nova vineyards are influenced by winds from the Atlantic Ocean creating the perfect climate to ripen varieties such as Fernao Pires, Avesso and Trajadura. This wine has Floral, citrus aromas which lead on to the palate with more bright citrus acidity and a lingering finish. This is a perfect choice for seafood and salads and beautiful Summer drinking.

Percheron Chenin Blanc Viognier 2023 (South Africa)

In the Breede River Valley, the vineyards stretch along the lower contours of the Hex River and Langeberg Mountains. The soil is mainly a Karoo type, red, lime-rich soil on the higher grounds and sandy loam lower down the slopes. The climate is perfect for viticulture with the low rainfall summer months, tempered by cool afternoons and the cold winters allowing the vines to rest and to build up the reserves.   This wine is made of 75% Chenin Blanc and 25% Viognier. Grapes are grown on 30+ year-old trellised Chenin and 15-year-old Viognier from hidden corners of the Cape.  Vibrant and aromatic with delicious subtle perfumed aromas with white peach and hints of jasmine on the nose. On the palate, it has tight, white, fleshy stone fruit and fresh apricot flavours that balance the sandy texture. Bright acidity and minerality help to deliver a delicious flavoursome and characteristic wine.

Baglio Gibellina U. Passimiento IGT 2021 (Sicily, Italy)

Baglio Gibellina is situated in picturesque Sicily where its vineyards are surrounded by the hills of Salemi and Santa Ninfa. Old vineyards located between 300-600m above sea level are grown on a mixture of clay and volcanic soils with limited yields allowing for the production of outstanding wines with incredible food-matching potential.

Bright intense red fruit on the nose displaying lots of red berries. The palate is warm and full-bodied with harmonious acidity and smooth and elegant tannins.
