"The Nose- it is quite lovely.
The taste- there is a distinct marmalade and custard quality but only after a brooding shadow of smoke moves out of the picture taking a little honey with it.
The Finish- lots of mocha and cream toffee, with the vanilla adding a dusty quality.
The balance- Have to say this is one very complex whisky these days. A fascinating and tasty bird, indeed."
