FARNESE FANTINI MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO COLLINE TERAMANE
Made from an indigenous grape type called Montepulciano this wine is soft pressing soft-fermentation maceration for 20 days. It is then aged in wooden casks, for over a year and aged in bottles for 6 months.
In the glass, it is a ruby red colour with garnet trim, spicy with hints of chocolate and tar than ever dominate the succulent fruitiness. Overall a structured wine with good tannins which is well-balanced.
This wine would be a perfect accompaniment to appetizers of cold cuts, cheese, rich pasta dishes and excellent with red meat.
