Aldo Conterno Il Favot Langhe Nebbiolo

In 1969 the late Aldo Conterno acquired the ‘Favot’ estate situated in Monforte d`Alba, in the heart of the Barolo wine area. And so Poderi Aldo Conterno was born, which is now managed by Aldo’s three sons. The Nebbiolo grapes used to make ‘Il Favot’ come from vineyards which, due to periodic planting, have a maximum age of 15 years. The skin contact is limited to 6-8 days to extract fewer tannins and more colour, resulting in a remarkably smooth wine.
