Beni Di Batasiolo Barbera d'Alba DOC Sovrana
Beni Di Batasiolo, the largest family owned wine producer in Piedmont since 1978, to grown to over 320 acres of vineyards. Batisolo's vines prosper across nine beni or estates. The estates soil, climate and position among the hills produce a range noble, elegant wines.
Produced in Piedmont, a region best known for its Barolo wines, and manually harvested in the first half of October, this ruby red Barbera Dalba pairs well with appetizers, pasta, riostto, white and red meat courses and aged cheese.
Malolactically fermented in stainless steel vats, 30-40% of the juice is kept in French oak casks, the remainder is aged in slavonian oak. After blending, the wine is aged for an additional time in bottle.
Versatile and delicate, this red offers an intense and persistent note of berries, cherries and ripe fruit. Plesant flavours of spice and delicate sensations reminiscent of wood and flowers.
